About Our Ministry

Iron Sharpens Iron Ministries is a nonprofit faith-based Christian discipleship program, centrally located in Boise, Idaho. Bill Masimer developed the program in 2012 as an IDOC-approved faith-based housing program.

01

Our Goal

The goal of this ministry program is to assist recently released men to live a functional, healthy, and productive life as they reintegrate back into the community, through establishing a living relationship with Jesus Christ.

02

What We Believe

We believe that a changed heart will produce a changed life and thus prevent individuals from re-offending or violating their parole. We also believe that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the key to a successful and changed life.

03

Our Involvement

We assist by connecting men with Probation and Parole, providing useful community resources, and getting set up with a number of services.

Some of these services include food stamps, Medicaid insurance, Terry Reilly Clinic, community food banks, employment through temp agencies, vocational rehab, resources for food, clothing, cell phones, budgeting, checking/savings accounts, bicycles, eye exam/glasses, food stamps, driver license and Idaho ID services.
